The Pencil-eating Monster
March 5, 2007My room is a vast jungle of papers, books, computer parts and PET bottles full of mysteries and secrets. But the biggest mystery has yet to be solved. The mystery of the Pencil-eating monster.
The Legend of the Pencil-eating Monster
it lurks in the shadows…
I didn't know when exactly the incidents started happening. It just happened.
Entering the labyrinth of papers, books and PET bottles is nothing new to me. The place as far as I could remember has always been that way, all messy and confusing. I will not be surprised if I accidentally found a long lost treasure amidst this labyrinth that ordinary people would call a mess.
It is a place I'm very familiar, having only seen by a few, it is my sanctuary. But this little haven of mine has been defiled by an unknown force or being with a huge appetite…an appetite for pencils.
Numerous cases has been reported but nothing of significance to alert the authorities. But then came the first major casuality. It was my Staedler 0.5 mechanical pencil which I have been always using. It was indeed a big loss crippling the advancement of my drawing skills as I am left to draw with your everyday Mongol pencils….
Damn it, haha…Writing this way is making my drowsy brain to throb like hell. Anyway, I can't seem to find my mechanical pencil amidst the mess that is my room. I guess it's time for somemajor clean-up of my room :D
In line with this entry, for my first task as an apprentice I'm doing "the lines". It's just drawing lines, lines and even more lines. I see how this can help me to improve my skills but this task is really testing my patience.

Stupidy is contagious
an obnoxious post
One purpose of a blog is to act as a outlet of thoughts from the everyday life of a blogger, be it a pleasant thought or a really nasty one.
Anyway, I can't help but sigh watching some of the DotA games played at the shop I play in. I mean there are really a lot of senseless arguments going around that it's giving me a headache. I can't help but laugh at the length of argument some people go through as they discuss skills that are difficult to comprehend (e.g. Sanity Eclipse).
And he's still there. That guy that provides a slight comic relief with his heated debate with the computer. I wonder what would happen if NBA Live can collect data from the user like voice and motion capture; I think that'll be a big problem with this guy because his players will be quickly sent off to the bench because of tons of technical fouls called for repeatedly arguing with the referee.

Fun at DotA
you have been fooled!!
Speaking of DotA. We managed to fool 2 of my friends in a 2v2 DotA game. It's just simply hilarious we laughed ourselves out even after the game ended. It goes like this. I'm Drow Ranger and my friend Jebsen is Zeus. Our opponents is Mond and VJ using Tinker and…err..I forgot the other one. Anyway, I just finished my BKB without the opponent knowing it and Zeus is pushing the mid lane. I hid myself in the woods to the right of the Scourge's first tower in the middle lane. Jebsen then blurted out for me to stop farming and help with the push. I immediately knew what he was doing so I replied that he should wait because "my BKB is almost finished". I really thought that VJ wouldn't buy this but when Zeus went up the ramp onto Scourge territory they quickly charged in on him, used Eul's on him intending to kill him. To their surprise however I'm not really farming but just waiting at my ambush spot and when I saw them buying our little trick I quickly activated my BKB, moved out my spot and then started strafing at both of them to their surprise. It's just then that they realized that they have been cleverly fooled and Mond, being one of my comic friend, then began blurting out in a very funny way how they have been "cheated" blurting out "Nadaya kami!!" (We have been cheated upon!!) and "Madumi..madumi ang larong ito!!" (dirty…this game is full of dirty tricks!!)…Haha…just one of those funny moments
