Drunken Haze
May 2, 2007@_@
As this has been a pretty much uneventful and an extremely boring day, I'll just do a blog about the swimming we had last Saturday evening.
Drunken Haze
Drenches an enemy unit in alcohol, causing his movement speed to be reduced…
Last Saturday we had the overnight swimming that my peer has been planning for about 2 weeks now. Actually it has been delayed a week already simply because most of us doesn't have the money yet for that planned get-away. The venue was Loreland Farm Resort in the mountains of Antipolo.
I think I was successful at fooling my friends to think that I'm not really going; I was planning to go from the very start by the way. I did it by jokingly replying that I'm very VERY excited about the swimming much more than the rest of them are whenever I am asked if I'm going to or not. Anyway, fast forward to the actual swimming thing…
Highlights
Theorem 1: Not everything go as planned…
I think one of the highlight in the said swimming was my drunken stupor. I got to engrossed with the conversation that we are having that I have failed to check the amount of alcohol I have been intaking. I think the 4 of us (out of..err…10? I think there were 10 of us and I'm too lazy to count while doing this post LOL!) that was having a chat at the cottage while the others are having a dip managed to finish off one and a half bottle of the Generosos that Vic brought along. I think I drank most of it which inevitibely led me to a drunken stupor.
After the second bottle was emptied thanks to those 4 people in the cottage we decided to take a dip, leaving Ace and Icha to look after our things. The effect was not readily felt but when I started taking "accidental dives" to the pool when all I want to do is walk towards the place where Max and Isho were, ah, Damn it! I drank too much!
It was a first for me to enter such a state, I occasionally take a sip here and there but not to a point of incapacitating me. The funny thing is, I'm still quite rational during that time. It's just my body's locomotive function is in a mess. Maybe that's why I'm saying "Hindi ako lasing" all of the time since my mental capacity was not incapacitaded. Heck! I can clearly remember how I answered that BKB question my friend posed while I was in that state. It's like in a first-person shooter game and something happens to your character which makes it unresponsive (hmm…come to think of it, it's like being hit by a Concussion Grenade in Team Fortress LOL!); I wanna go in a straight line but my body will go all zig-zaggy.
then, technical knock-out…
I think that was inevitable too; my body's response to preventing a vomiting streak. I was really not feeling well then. It got better when I took a nap though.

Guess that's it for this post, I'm having another spell of laziness…err..I mean, "writer's block" LOL!
