I watched the second to the last episode today of Kanon KyoAni remake. This series which started, I think, October last year has now officially become one of my favorite anime series. An excellent story coupled with super high animation quality, it's inevitable that I'll be captivated by this series. I had spells of anxiety just waiting for the fan-subbed episodes released every week since I've started watchng this anime series.

With one more episode to go, much of the mystery has been uncovered but the biggest of questions is still reserved for the last episode - How will this excellent series end? There's a handful of anime series there that has been ruined by a really bad ending so I hope Kanon won't turn out to be a disappointment.

Days of Boredeom: Day 2, the fear

It's yet again another boring day for me as nothing of significance has happened.

I came across the reviewer I used for the college entrance test and surprisingly I can still answer them. Answering those reviewers was what took most of my afternoon. It's been 3 years eh? I can still clearly remember those days, it's all about review, review and even more review sessions. Thinking about it, I feel quite stupid for wasting all those times. The passion I have for studying now is not as intense as back during those days. I have forgotten it.

Anyway, let's see…I have confirmed that I have a fear for objects that suddenly move. I think I have a better understanding as to how phobias are develop as this fear of mine is only recent. I think it all began during that incident when that gecko suddenly jumped out of the Koko Crunch box. It caught me completely off-guard forcing me to instinctively throw the said box leaving me with a phobia.

That's it for this yet another senseless post. Gray, my life is lifeless like the color gray. I wonder when my life will be tainted with colors, I'm sure is getting tired of living in monochrome.

Since I was stuck again at home I decided to just post random thoughts that crossed my mind today.

GMT +9:00
aka Filipino Time

I wonder  who handles requests for timezone change 'cause I'll definitely file a timezone change request for the Philippines. From GMT +8:00 to GMT +9:00 so that our time will be 1 hour ahead from what it should be. Will this significantly affect the Philippines? Not really, in fact such change is actually good and will drastically improve the image of us Filipino who always seem to be  1 hour late for everything.

Why did I come up with such a brilliant notion, well at least for me, anyway? Filipino time is an everyday problem plaguing us Filipinos across the archipelago. Even the Philippine media recognizes the fact that the Filipinos are a "bit" off with their time by actually running shows "later" than it should be if you consider the definition of the term late as showing a 7:00pm show at 7:30pm just to give an example. Well there's more than one way to solve this big problem of time management but us Filipinos are too poor and too lazy to afford and attend some time management seminar, which most of us will not be able to comprehend anyway, and I have concluded that modifying time by shifting it is the best solution.

Of course it's still impossible to move entire archipelago countries with current technology such that that country will be at the same longitude as South Korea and Japan so we will have to do with a notion of timezone change.

The term "Filipino time" will become an archaic word. But of course if my idea is approved there is a high chance that in the near future it'll be moved again +1:00 and then moved again aned again until we have become the first country to go around the world!! (well, sort of) It's yet another senseless new Guiness World Record for the Philippines!! Like how we are the current record-holder for the sheer number of sms (probably the cheapest form of communication there is) that we use.

Gloomy Wednesday

A Boring Day

Yes, Suiseiseki* above pretty much portrays my entire mood for the day. Total Boredom.

I woke up really really early today to my dismay around 7 in the morning. And just so you know, I slept at around 3 in the morning so that just suck. I planned to do "the lines" (it's just drawing miles and miles of line as training for going into the freelance illustration industry) but dropped it since I know just how bad the hand-eye coordination of someone who lacks sleep is. I decided to read the continuation of that Suzumiya Haruhi novel I've been reading last night but realized that the reading comprehension of someone who lacks sleep is just as bad - I never understood a word that I've read. In the end I fell asleep again and woke up late afternoon which sucks more than sleeping late in the wee hours of the morning then waking up after 3 hours or so because waking up at that time means that I'll not be able to do anything which equates to a day completely wasted.

To top it all off, Icon 6, the computer shop that me and my friends hang out, doesn't have an internet connection so I was forced to watch a headache-inducing game (refer to my former posts as to what a headache inducing game of DotA is).

Vic in a seemingly hallucinated state doesn't help at all to ease the boredom that has engulfed me the entire day. Speaking of which, sarap mang-trip ng tao…haha…right Vic?

Anyway…

All in all this day is one boring one. I guess by now you've noticed how boring this post is which reflects my mood for today.

I hope I can write better tomorrow. Damn.
